@matigo There are native plant options that aren't as pretty. Or even just grass that doesn't require so much water. But, it has to be pretty or it's not acceptable.
@matigo The amount of water we waste on lawns is mind-boggling. It's particularly galling here in Central Texas this year while we're in a terrible drought. And, it will only get worse. This is something that has bothered me for a very long time. The grass is pretty and all but it just doesn't seem worth it.

@variablepulserate Ha ha ha. Lots of sugar! They taste okay. My favorite Buc-ee's snack is the potato chips they make in house. Very tasty.

@variablepulserate I don't like the idea of getting billed for something unexpected, like a renewed annual subscription that I might not really want to renew. At least, not right now.

@phoneboy We've got lots of Buc-ee's around here and I didn't notice for at least a year or two that they have NOWHERE to sit. They want you to buy all the food but don't want you loitering in the way of more people coming in to buy all the food.
@hazardwarning I have taken to only using gift cards in the Apple store. I buy $100 at a time and don't give them my CC. If I make a large purchase, I do use my CC but it never gets stored with Apple. I started doing this back when we could get discounted iTunes cards but those are a thing of the past.
