@matigo "You people are taking this forum too serious." Ha ha ha.
@hazardwarning Interesting! I mostly make a tomato-based vegetable soup with quinoa and (mostly black) beans. I sometimes add potatoes or pasta but very rarely.
@jussipekonen What is the significance of this wrt being 12?
I hit 111111 last week. And, I was unreasonably happy when I glanced down at the odometer in time to see it and take a photo. :-)

@hazardwarning I always make too much soup but maybe I could try blending some of it next time. Do you always add cream or some such?
Soup is the mainstay of my home-cooked meals.

@hazardwarning Ha ha ha! Looks tasty to me. I make veggie soup all the time but I never blend it. Maybe I should do that next time just to see what happens. :-)

@matigo There are native plant options that aren't as pretty. Or even just grass that doesn't require so much water. But, it has to be pretty or it's not acceptable.
@matigo The amount of water we waste on lawns is mind-boggling. It's particularly galling here in Central Texas this year while we're in a terrible drought. And, it will only get worse. This is something that has bothered me for a very long time. The grass is pretty and all but it just doesn't seem worth it.
