@jws A mound of chopped cilantro? Worst idea ever! A big bundle of fresh cilantro can actually trigger my gag reflex. Ack!
As for anise, im not a big fan but my favorite Christmas cookies (New Mexican biscochitos) actually have a bit of anise in them. :-)
