@kdfrawg Sounds just about perfect.
@hazardwarning That is amazing. My parents have known each other since they were toddlers so a bit over 70 years for them. Again, amazing.
I'm glad things went well. Hugs…
@JeremyCherfas :-) I started listening to your latest podcast on my drive to work this morning. I'll be back in touch soon!
@indigo My sister initially had plans to fly out early Monday morning (she'd arranged her travel to coincide with our brother's plans when he set up his itinerary from Kentucky) but that flight was supposed to go through Houston. We changed that early on Saturday so she'd fly out with me on Monday evening instead since my flight was going through Dallas. For a bit on Sunday, the Dallas connection didn't look all that promising (many flights from the Dallas airport to Austin were cancelled on Sunday) but it was all clear by Monday and worked out well. The Houston airport she was set to fly through is just now scheduled to resume limited service as I type. So it was good that we jumped on the chance to change things when we did.

@gtwilson Thanks, Tom! Do you have any clients in Houston or along the coast that will be requiring your expertise to get back up to speed? What a mess.

Thanks to all of you for checkin on me. I was having a very nice vacation with my family in New Mexico. Nobody in my immediate family was hurt or had any property loss as best we can tell. We still haven't actually been out to my parents' house but my dad spoke with the next-door neighbor and was told that all is fine. My sister's in-laws got out of Houston and stayed at her house here in Austin. They likely have had some flooding damage since they were hit last year but they don't know yet.
My sister and I made it back to Austin without incident late Monday and this is the first time I've checked in here. Group hug!
