:-(

I mis-typed the URL for some site at home the other day and rather than get the standard error message, I was presented with a Time-Warner (or whatever it is now…I forget) page with a list of "helpful" suggestions and ads. Near the top was a "why am I here?" link. I clicked on it and was presented with a page from them explaining how helpful they were being but that I just had to "click here" to opt out. I clicked on the "click here" option and tried again and got the same thing. I could not, in fact, opt out. I can't wait until it starts costing me a per-visit fee to see things.

Ha!

@kdfrawg :-)

I missed this. What was the concert?

Oh no! Lily okay today?

Perhaps you could listen to some podcasts that might lull you to sleep—if you could find the proper mix of dull voices and boring topics? :-)

@kdfrawg That certainly is how it looked. I couldn't believe the news when I got home from my musical adventures last night.

I know that feeling. Did you finally get some sleep?

Sweet. All of my cars have had manual transmissions save one. That one turned into a true lemon. I went back to manual and vow to stay there as long as I can.
