Yo, @JeremyCherfas! I noticed they'd trimmed all the bushes in the landscaped area around my garage at work back about as far as you could trim without removing them completely. Made me think of you!
@indigo Ha! Yeah, I don't imagine I spent much time babysitting my other brother (18 months younger than me) very much. We were latch-key kids for a couple of years, though, and I was in charge of the keys when I was about 8-10 years old.

@hazardwarning Nobody in their right mind would necessarily volunteer but I did some babysitting for friends. And my youngest siblings are 10 and 11 years younger than me so I had lots of practice with them.

@hazardwarning Ah. So it's kind of like those old frames that had sand in between two pieces of glass that we'd rotate and rock back-and-forth to play with the patterns? Cool. I still have one somewhere. I remember seeing it over the holidays.
